What is the role?
We are seeking a Manager for Digital Transformation to drive initiatives in AI, automation, data analytics, and enterprise platforms that improve how our organisation operates and innovates. In this role, you will lead cross-functional digital initiatives to turn digital strategy into tangible results, enhancing efficiency, strengthen compliance, and ensure our systems meet evolving business needs. You will play a key role in shaping our AI roadmap, evaluation, deployment, and governance of AI solutions in line with regulatory, cybersecurity, and organisational requirements.
What are the key responsibilities?
• Collaborate in the development of, and drive, the execution of Aerogen’s digital transformation roadmap.
• Innovate process optimisation, digital automation, and data-driven decision making across business functions.
• Innovate and drive the development of Aerogen’s AI roadmap through evaluating use cases, coordinating pilot projects, and ensuring AI systems meet data integrity, ethics, cybersecurity and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee the rollout, enhancement, and user adoption of digital platforms and analytics platforms.
• Partner with IT and business teams to support integrations with ERP, MES, eQMS, P&OD and other enterprise systems.
• Encourage new thinking in AI/ML, automation, IoT, cloud technologies, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency.
• Promote good digital governance ensuring digital systems follow regulatory, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements, contributing to risk management, internal audits, and data integrity.
• Build strong relationships relationships and coordinate external resources to ensure timely and compliant solution delivery.
• Champion a culture of digital enablement, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
What education and experience are required?
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Proven track record delivering digital or technology change programmes
What key skills will make you great at the role?
• Experience with enterprise digital platforms (eQMS, PLM, ERP, analytics/BI, digital manufacturing).
• Knowledge of AI concepts, data governance, and ethical AI practices is an advantage.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver actionable outcomes.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives.
• Understanding of regulatory and quality requirements (GxP, FDA, ISO).
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and data privacy principles in regulated environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and drive digital adoption.
• A customer-focused, solutions-oriented mindset and able to work at a highly detailed level in a fast-paced environment.
