Terms of Service – SuperHire.ie

Effective Date: 16 June 2025

1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all users of SuperHire.ie, including employer users, candidate users, and other visitors to the platform. By accessing or using SuperHire.ie, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

SuperHire.ie is a STEM-specific jobs platform for direct employers, STEM professionals, and jobseekers in Ireland.

2. Platform Purpose and Eligibility

SuperHire.ie is a STEM-specific jobs platform connecting direct employers with qualified candidates in Ireland. The platform is not a general jobs board. All users must fall within the eligible categories below.

Eligible employer users: manufacturers, medtech companies, biopharma firms, engineering organisations, research institutions, and technology companies operating in STEM sectors that are hiring directly.

Eligible candidate users: individual STEM professionals and jobseekers aged 18 and above.

The following are not permitted to create accounts or post roles without explicit written approval from SuperHire.ie:

  • Recruitment agencies and staffing providers
  • Third-party project vendors and outsourced service companies
  • Engineering consultancies or firms offering staff on a contract, outsourced, or project basis

SuperHire.ie reserves the right to vet, edit, reject, or remove any job post or employer account that does not meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Employer Responsibilities

Employer users agree to the following:

  • All job postings must represent genuine, currently available vacancies. "Ghost jobs" — roles that do not exist, are already filled, or are posted solely to collect candidate data — are strictly prohibited.
  • Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all posted content and for ensuring compliance with Irish employment law.
  • Employers are solely responsible for selecting the correct job category. SuperHire.ie accepts no liability for misclassification by the employer.
  • Job postings may not be used to redirect candidates to external databases or build talent pools without genuine intent to hire.
  • Non-employment postings — including training courses, unpaid internships (without prior approval), volunteer programmes, or unrelated advertisements — are not permitted.
  • Duplicate postings of the same or substantially similar roles are not permitted, except where a role has genuinely reopened.

Fair Use of Unlimited Plans

Unlimited job posting plans apply only to direct roles within the subscribing employer's business unit. Plans may not be resold, shared, or used to advertise roles on behalf of unrelated third parties, subsidiaries, or agencies without prior written consent. Each distinct legal entity requires its own subscription unless a group agreement is in place. Excessive posting, spamming, or automated mass posting is prohibited.

SuperHire.ie reserves the right to monitor postings and remove, suspend, or refuse any content that breaches this policy. Continued or serious breaches may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

4. Candidate and Jobseeker Responsibilities

Candidate and jobseeker users agree to the following:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in their profile, CV, and applications.
  • Use the platform solely for personal jobseeking purposes.
  • Not misrepresent qualifications, experience, or identity.
  • Not use the platform to harvest employer contact details or job data for commercial purposes.

SuperHire.ie is not a party to any employment negotiation or hiring decision and accepts no responsibility for outcomes arising from applications made through the platform.

5. General User Responsibilities

All users of SuperHire.ie — employers, candidates, and visitors — agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date registration information.
  • Keep login credentials confidential and not share account access.
  • Use the platform lawfully, ethically, and professionally.
  • Not upload false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Comply with all applicable Irish and international laws.

SuperHire.ie reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts where these obligations are not met.

6. Services Provided

SuperHire.ie offers the following services:

  • A job board for eligible direct employers to post STEM vacancies.
  • A platform for STEM candidates and jobseekers to discover and apply for roles.
  • Premium services including featured listings, employer branding, CV database access, and related products.
  • Aggregated job listings sourced from publicly accessible and verified employer career pages, to improve visibility of STEM opportunities in Ireland.

In limited cases, SuperHire.ie may index or reproduce publicly available job listings from verified employer websites where it has documented a legitimate interests assessment, provides appropriate transparency, attributes the original source, and offers a clear opt-out or removal process. Such listings are not materially modified and will be removed promptly upon written request to info@superhire.ie.

Where SuperHire.ie publishes listings with prior consent, the originating employer retains intellectual property ownership of that content.

7. Payments and Paid Services

  • Certain features require payment, including premium job postings and CV database access.
  • Paid employer services on SuperHire.ie are provided on a business-to-business basis.
  • All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are due at the time of purchase and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
  • SuperHire.ie reserves the right to update pricing or billing terms at any time.
  • Users who breach these Terms, including eligibility or posting requirements, are not entitled to a refund.
  • For billing queries or disputes, contact info@superhire.ie.

7A. Talent Tokens Loyalty Programme

Talent Tokens are a promotional loyalty reward available exclusively to verified employer clients of SuperHire.ie. They are subject to these Terms and the following conditions:

  • Nature: Talent Tokens have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not cryptocurrency or financial instruments. They are non-transferable and non-assignable.
  • Eligibility: Only verified employer clients may earn or redeem Tokens. Tokens are forfeited if an account is closed, suspended, or terminated.
  • Earning: Employers earn one (1) Token per €1 spent on eligible SuperHire.ie services (exclusive of VAT and third-party fees). Tokens are credited once payment is successfully processed. SuperHire.ie may issue bonus Tokens at its discretion.

  • Expiry: Tokens operate on a calendar year basis (1 January – 31 December). All unused Tokens expire at midnight on 31 December each year and cannot be carried over.
  • Adjustments: SuperHire.ie may correct Token balances for errors, fraud, chargebacks, or cancelled orders.
  • Misuse: Suspected abuse or manipulation of the programme may result in Tokens being revoked and accounts suspended or terminated.
  • Programme changes: SuperHire.ie may amend, pause, or discontinue the Talent Tokens programme at any time without liability for unused or expired Tokens.

8. Data and Privacy

SuperHire.ie is committed to handling all personal data in accordance with GDPR and applicable Irish data protection law.

Use of SuperHire.ie is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, and shared.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content — including design, features, branding, and text — is protected by intellectual property law. Users may not copy, distribute, or modify platform content without prior written consent from SuperHire.ie. Job postings remain the intellectual property of the posting employer.

10. Third-Party Links and Tools

SuperHire.ie may link to third-party websites or integrate third-party tools. We are not responsible for the content, reliability, or privacy practices of external services. Use of third-party tools is at the user's own risk.

11. Prohibited Data Scraping and Automated Access

Any attempt to scrape, harvest, crawl, or otherwise collect data from SuperHire.ie — including job listings, candidate information, or employer content — through automated or manual means without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate account termination, legal action, and claims for damages.

12. Limitation of Liability

SuperHire.ie is a facilitation platform and does not guarantee job placements, hiring outcomes, or uninterrupted access. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SuperHire.ie makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content on the platform.
  • SuperHire.ie is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the platform, errors in job posts or user data, service disruptions, or disputes between users.

Users are solely responsible for their own actions, applications, and hiring decisions made through the platform.

13. Modifications to Services or Terms

  • SuperHire.ie may update or discontinue features without prior notice.
  • These Terms may be revised periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or website notice.
  • Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.

14. Account Termination

SuperHire.ie may suspend or terminate accounts, without refund where permitted by these Terms, for Terms violations, unauthorised use of the platform, or failure to meet eligibility requirements. Where reasonably practicable, notice will be provided. Following termination, access to the account may be removed and any personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

15. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify SuperHire.ie and its affiliates against any claims or damages resulting from violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or infringement of third-party rights.

16. Governing Law
