Back End Day shift:
This role is on a 12-hour day shift (7:00am – 7:00pm)
Every Friday to Sunday and alternate Thursdays
Following a repeating 4-on/3-off – 3-on/4-off schedule.
Shift Premium:
15% premium only for Saturday & Sunday
No shift premium for Thursday & Friday
Where You Come In
- You will supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including unloading, receiving, putaway, transporting, order picking, cycle counting, and inventory control.
- You will hire, train, and coach a team of material handlers, ensuring daily operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- You will establish and report on daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for any misses.
- You will develop and implement robust training, onboarding, and cross-training programs to build a high-performing team.
- You will drive inventory accuracy by ensuring real-time ERP/WMS transactions, daily cycle counts, and thorough investigations of discrepancies.
- You will propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain compliance.
- You will develop and update SOPs and collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- You will conduct detailed investigations using tools like 5-Why, Fishbone, or DMAIC to support CAPA documentation.
- You will perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations and business goals.
What makes you successful:
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of relevant experience (5–8 years) is required.
- You have experience supervising a team in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- You bring experience using ERP systems for inventory and warehouse management.
- You have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- You have experience developing SOPs and work instructions for warehouse processes.
- You are skilled in reporting and analysing warehouse metrics (productivity, financial, safety).
- You are flexible and able to rotate shifts, including day, night, and weekend coverage as needed.
- You have strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- You hold a full, clean driver’s licence required for operating company vehicles.
Nice to Have:
- You have experience in cGMP environments and knowledge of regulatory bodies such as ISO, FDA, OSHA, and DOT/IATA.
- You’ve worked with systems like Oracle, HighJump, FedEx Ship Manager, Transport Management System, Logistic Management System, or dock scheduling tools.
- You bring project management experience and a continuous improvement mindset.
- You have experience operating forklifts.
